Do you hold my money?
No. Referralmeter calculates what each affiliate is owed. You pay them from your own PayPal or Wise account with the batch file we prepare, then mark the batch paid. Money never passes through us, and no agent, API call or MCP tool can mark a payout as paid.
What if tracking breaks after I ship a change?
Run the verification again. It sends a test click, a signup, a test-mode payment, the commission and a refund through your real setup and issues a fresh certificate. The dashboard also shows when we last saw the script on your site and the last webhook from each billing provider, so a silent break is visible.
Is this cookie-based tracking?
Only for the first hop. The script remembers the affiliate click in first-party storage on your own domain, never a third-party cookie. At checkout the referral is written into your billing provider's own record, and every commission comes from a signed webhook. Once a customer has paid, a blocked script or a cleared cookie can't lose the commission.
Can I import from FirstPromoter or Rewardful?
Yes, on Pro. We import your affiliates and their referral codes through the old tool's API, and the script understands their link parameters (fpr for FirstPromoter, via for Rewardful), so links your affiliates already posted keep working. Step by step: from FirstPromoter, from Rewardful.
Do I need a developer?
If you build with Claude Code, Cursor or Lovable, your agent is the developer: paste the install prompt and it adds the script, passes the referral into checkout and runs the verification. Without an agent, it is one script tag and one billing connection, and the docs walk through both.
What does the Recruiting Agent actually do?
It researches creators, newsletters and YouTubers who already cover your category or your competitors, and gives you a shortlist where every name comes with the evidence (a link to the video or post) and a fit score. For each one it drafts a personal note. It runs up to 2 times a week on the Growth plan, then tracks each person from invited to joined to first click to first sale.
Do you email creators for me?
No. You send each draft from your own inbox, edited as much as you like, up to 15 a day. Personal mail from a founder gets answered; bulk mail from a tool's domain gets marked as spam, and that would hurt you and every other customer.
What counts as referred revenue on Free?
Free until your affiliates bring in $1,000 a month. That's live payments from customers an affiliate referred, minus refunds, in the current calendar month (UTC). Test-mode payments and verification runs never count. Tracking never stops at the cap — only payout exports pause until you upgrade. The cap resets on the 1st of each month.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Plans are monthly. Cancel in Settings → Billing, which opens the Stripe billing portal; you keep your plan until the end of the month you paid for, and your data and affiliates stay on the Free plan.
